For chemical weed control in rape and broad pea fields at the seedling stage, commonly used herbicides are: 5% Jinghecao grams, 10.8% Gaicaoneng, 17.5% Jingquin·Caozhuling (trade name "Shuangdao") and so on.

Usage: 50~80ml/mu of Jinghecao, or 40-50ml/mu of Gicao Neng, or 125-150 ml/mu of Jingquin·Caozhuling "Double Knife" medicine, mixed with water 30-40 kg Spray evenly.

Use time and frequency: Generally, spray the medicine once at the 3~5 leaf stage of weeds.

Precautions for use:

1. Choose a sunny day, suitable temperature, and the soil has enough humidity to apply the medicine, and the control effect is good. Low temperature, drought, poor control effect; if the temperature is lower than 8 ℃, it is not suitable to use medicine.

2. Spray evenly and in sufficient quantity, avoid leaking and re-spraying; and pay attention to the wind direction, and it is strictly forbidden for the drug to drift to gramineous crops.

3. A few herbicides have variety selectivity, such as "double knives", it is not recommended to be used on old varieties of rapeseed and broad pea such as mustard type and cabbage type. Farmers should read the instructions carefully before using the medicine to avoid unnecessary losses.

4. For dry or overgrown fields with outdated control, the concentration should be appropriately increased and high doses should be used.

5. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and masks when dispensing and spraying medicine. Wash hands and face promptly after medicine.

6. The liquid medicine is generally toxic to fish. It is not advisable to pour the remaining liquid medicine into ponds or rivers; the used containers should be thoroughly cleaned, but care should be taken not to pollute the water source.
