Core tips: 1. Prepare for immunity: chickens stop water supply for 1-4 hours before immunization. Generally, when 70%---80% of chickens find water to drink, they will be immunized by drinking water again. 2. Diluted vaccine: when drinking water for immunity, drink water
  1. Prepare for immunization: chickens stop water supply for 1-4 hours before immunization. Generally, when 70%---80% of chickens find water, they will be immunized by drinking water again.
  2. Diluted vaccine: When drinking water for immunization, the amount of water consumed is 40% of the usual daily water consumption, so that the vaccine solution can be consumed within 1 to 1.5 hours. Generally, chickens less than 4 weeks old are 12 liters per thousand, chickens 4-8 weeks old are 20 liters per thousand, and chickens over 8 weeks old are 40 liters per thousand. After calculating the dosage of vaccine and diluent, add 0.1%---0.3% skimmed milk powder to the diluent (no skimmed milk powder, stir well, the vaccine is first dissolved and diluted with a small amount of diluent, then add the rest of the solution in a large container, together Stir well and use immediately).
  3. Drinking water immunity: Add the prepared vaccine water to the drinking fountain and give it to the chickens. The vaccine water is given the same time and the drinking fountains are evenly distributed, so that the same flock of chickens basically drink the vaccine water at the same time. And drink it within 1 to 1.5 hours.
   4. Matters needing attention:
   (1) In the hot season, drinking water should be immunized in the morning, and drinking fountains containing vaccines should not be exposed to the sun.
   (2) Metal containers are prohibited for drinking water immunity, and hard plastic or enamel utensils are generally used.
   (3) Clean drinking utensils before immunization. Wash drinking utensils with clean water or boiled water, so that no disinfectant, rust, stolen goods, etc. remain.
   (4) Residual vaccines and used (empty) vaccine bottles after immunization should be disinfected by boiling, etc., and should not be thrown away at will.
   (5) Aseptic operation should be paid attention to when the vaccine is diluted, and the equipment used must be strictly disinfected. The diluent (drinking water) should be clean and hygienic, free of chloride ions, heavy metal ions, antibiotics and disinfectants (usually use neutral distilled water, cold temperature boiling water or deep well water).
   (6) The dosage of vaccine must be accurate, generally it should be 2 to 3 times of the injected immunization dosage.
   (7) There should be enough drinking fountains to ensure that each chicken can drink enough vaccine water.
